TO ADVISE ON SHIPPING
NEW COMMITTEE REGISTERED British Official Wireless Reed. 9.30 a.m. RUGBY, Tuesday. The formation of an aviation advisory committee by Lloyd’s Register of Shipping was announced some time ago, and the names of those who are serving on it are now published. They include, in addition to prominent members of Lloyd’s, representatives of all the interests concerned in civil aviation, and the hope is expressed that with the formation of the new committee the activities of the society in regard to civil aviation will be gradually extended, and will in time embrace many of the services which Lloyd’s Register has so long rendered in the sphere of shipping.
