JOLLY DANCE EVENING enjoyable programme v delipl' tful evening was held in the Kingsford Hall recently by friends of ■ I rs Searson (nee Miss Irene Madi"tin). to bid farewell to Mr. Searson prior to his return to Australia front i holiday trip to Auckland. \ n enjoyable programme of musical items was given. Those contributing tvi-re: Mrs Searson. Mrs Wheeler, Mrs. Turner, Mrs. Wyman, Mr. and Mrs. Searson. duet: Miss Kerr, violin solo. Enjoyable dance music was plaved by Mrs. .T. Gillies and .Miss Kerr. The duties of M.C.’s were ably carried out by Alessrs. J. Gillies and Tl. Christini. Old-time music was provided by the •old-timers" in charge of Mr. Ay re. Among those present were:—Mosdames Madlgan. Searson. Meggs. Gillies. J. Todd, Christini, Turner. James, McCarthy. Penngelly, Cantwell, Flood, Mrlvor, Ayres. Hickson. Rugg, K. Todd, Wheeler. McManus, Wyman, Walters, Petrie. Ogilvie. Vesey. Misses McGee. ,\yre, Kerr and Hickson.
