TOKANUI MENTAL HOSPITAL
NURSES’ HOME COMMENCED From Our Own Correspondent TOKANUI, Today. Work has commenced on the new nurses’ home at Tokanui Mental Hospital. The home will be of two storeys, with accommodation for 60 nurses. It is being built in brick, with tiled roofing-. The building will consist of two parallel wings with a connecting block, and apart from 60 bedrooms will contain a large kitchen, cook’s quarters, and sitting-room for the staff. The price was £23,781.
