TWO ROOMS DAMAGED A four-roomed wooden residence ill Rangi-toto Road, Papatoetoe, owned by Mrs. O. J. Mawkes, and occupied by Mr. Cyril Walker, was partially gutted by fire at 1.40 a.m. today. Mrs. Walker was awakened bysmoke and roused Mr. Walker, who found the kitchen ill flames. He immediately gave the alarm io the Papatoetoe Fire Brigade, which was soon on the scene.
