MATCH WITH RANGITIKEI WICKET IN FAIR ORDER Press Association MARTON, Today. Tho M.C.C. cricket match was resumed this morning in fine weather, after heavy rain overnight.. The wicket was in fair order. Dawson (59) and Nichols (71) resumed for the visitors to the bowling of Glennie and Smith. The game had been in progress only a few minutes when Nichols sent a catch to Staples off Glennie. 1*11—3—73. Worthington was next man in, and at noon the score was 154, with Dawson 66, and Worthington 4. The last wicket fell with the total at 135. Dawson and Barratt opened for the M.C.C. after the tea adjournment. Barratt had scored only two when he was caught behind the wickets. Begge played cautiously, but when the total was 25 lie was clean-bowled by Smith. He had scored four. Nichols* and Dawson settled down, and were scoring freely when stumps were drawn for the day with the total at 139. The match will be concluded tomorrow. Dawson and Worthington continued to increase tho score, but the former, when he had scored 96, was run out as a result of good fielding. The score was then 210 for four wickets. Gilligan followed and the score mounted faster. At the luncheon adjournment the total was 256. Details: RAN GITIKEI
