RED CROSS SOCIETY WELLINGTON, Today. A meeting of members, of the British Red Cross Society was held yesterday and points in the dispute were discussed. At the conclusion It was announced that no statement in regard to the points.in dispute could be made at the present Juncture.
** JRAGINQ STORMS IN ALPST Strenuous efforts were made yes- « tercfay to recover the bodies of the Mount Cook victims, but were made futil* on account of the terrible weather conditions on the Tasman Glacier. Another attempt was made today, but the weather Is still unfavourable. A violent electrical storm, accompanied by driving rain and hail has been raging in the Alps since Sunday morning. Chief Gs*ide Vic. Williams Is in charge of 4he search party.
