MISS GWEN LATIMER ENTERTAINS AT TEA GIFT AFTERNOON FOR MISS ORMISTON A very Happy little function in the form of a kitchen afternoon was held last week in honour of Mtss Marnee Ormiston, who is to be married tomorrow. The hostess was Miss Gwen Latimer, who is to Id© bridesmaid, and the aftei noon party was held at her home in Mount Eden Road. A profusion of fragrant flowers decorated the rooms and a very pleasant hour or so was spent opening the parcels and chatting over the teacups. Miss Latimer was wearing a figured French ninon frock of pastel blue. Miss Ormiston was frocked in a smart navy and red ensemble with shady beige and navy hat. AMONG THE GUESTS Miss Rita Darby had on figured pastel shaded ninon and a large black bangkok straw hat. _ , Miss Iris Broad wore a cream and pale green ensemble suit with green hat to tone. - Miss Daisy Grayson was in a soit green uneven-length hand-worked frock, and green crinoline straw hat. Miss Mabel Niccolls chose sunset pink with large pink hat to tone. Miss Doris Whitson wore a leaf green hand-worked frock with cream hah Miss Kathleen Leighton had on brown shantung figured with red and fawn, and brown hat to tone. Miss Sybil Hay was wearing an apple green ensemble and hat to tone. Miss Marjorie Hay was in lawn jersej velour and beige hat. , , Mrs. Hunter Harrison wore palest blue silk, uneven hem, and large shady blue hat.
