MURIWAI BEACH RACING

HANDICAPS FOR SATURDAY Events for both motor-cars and motor-cycles will be contested at the; carnival to be staged on Muriwai Beach next Saturday by the Murivva:. Motor Racing Club. In all, there are 10 events and thesei have attracted large numbers of entries. For the women’s handicap, of two miles, there are seven entries, while the feature event of the day, the New Zealand Beach Handicap, of 18 miles, will be contested by 14 prominent racing motorists. It is intended to start the meeting as early in the day as possible in order to give enthusiasts and competitors time to get back to Auckland for the meeting to be staged at the Western Springs Speedway that evening.
