SUPERIOR RIOO
IN TRIAL TESTS BEATS GRAF ZEPPELIN RECORDS EXCEEDS CONTRACT SPEED LONDON, Friday. The airship RIOO returned to her mooring mast at Cardington this morning after a flight which lasted 131 hours. She attained a speed of 811 miles an hour, or 111 miles an hour above her contract speed. The airship beat all the official and unofficial records of the Graf Zeppelin.
