LIST FOR ONE YEAR IN CHRISTCHURCH Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, Today. In the Children’s Court, two boys admitted giving 10 false alarms. The fire brigade superintendent, Mr. Warner, gave evidence that there had been more than a hundred false alarms in a year, resulting in great cost to the brigade. The actual expense of turning out amounted to £6 for each occasion. Three men had been killed in New Zealand when fire brigades had been responding to false alarms.
