LAUNCH RACING

CRUISE TO ROCKY BAY The New Zealand Power Boat Association has a cruising race for launches tomorrow, starting from King’s Wharf at 2.30 p.m. The destination will be Rocky Bay, Waiheke. The finishing line is laid between the launch Ruutangi and a moored dinghy. All fairway marks must be observed. An alternative course in event of southerly weather will be to Matiatia. In that case a white flag will be shown from the wharf at the time of starting. Entries are as follow:—Lady Margaret 11., Viveen, Manu, My Girl, Adelaide V., Ramona. Handicaps are not yet declared. The officials are: Starter, Mr. J. S. ID. Hanna; timekeeper, Mr. L. Stericker.
