FAREWELL TO GOVERNOR
PRESENTATION AT DUNEDIN Press Association DUNEDIN, Tuesday. A civic farewell was tendered to the Governor-General, Sir Charles Fergusson, and Lady Alice Fergusson in the Town Hall concert chamber this evening, the function being the first to be held there. The building was crowded, and great enthusiasm was displayed. His Excellency was presented with a greenstone inkstand mounted in New Zealand woods. The presentation was made by the Mayor, Mr. R. S. Black, on behalf of the city.
