LOAN APPLIED FOR
£20,000 HARBOUR WORKS Press Association HAWERA, Saturday. The proposal of the Opunake Harbour Board to borrow £20,000 for completing the mole was advanced another step yesterday when the board passed a resolution deciding to apply to the Local Bodies Loans Board for sanction to raise a loan. A petition has been signed by 195 ratepayers objecting to the loan proposals.
