SPYING JOURNALIST
TAPS WIRE ON DIPLOMATIC INTERVIEW ARREST FOLLOWS Reed. 9.5 a.m. LONDON, Friday. A Warsaw journalist has been arrested on a charge of tapping a longdistance telephone during a confidential conversation between M. Moscicki, President of Poland, and Professor Bartel during the formation of a Cabinet, and with publishing the gist of the interview in an anonymous pamphlet. The postal authorities now announce that they are doing their utmost to guarantee both members of Cabinet and private citizens absolute secrecy while they are telephoning.
