OTAHUHU WEDDING

JACOB—WHALE Mavis Miriam, fifth daughter ot Mr. and Mrs. Whale, of Station Road. Otahuhu, rvas married to Mr. George G. Jacob, at the Holy Trinity Church, Otahuhu, during the Mew Tear. The bride's frock was of white georgette and crepe de chine, the veil being held in place with a circlet of orange blossoms. Her bouquet was of cream ros-m and lilies. The duties of bridesmaid were carried out by Miss Annie Whale, sister of the bride, whose frock was of daffodil yellow georgette, and tulle headdress of matching shade. Mr. J. Jacobs, of Te Kuiti. acted as best man, and the Rev. C. B. W. Seton was the officiating minister, Mrs. Whale later received the guests wearing an ensemble of grey with furs to match. She wore a small black hat. 3ilrs, Jacob wore a smart frock of black panne velvet and georgette.
