BURGLARS’ MARK

PREMISES ENTERED FOR SIXTH TIME Tyres, valued at about £24, were stolen from the Firestone Tyre Company, at the Newmarket end of Khyber Pass Road, early on Tuesday morning. The premises were entered through a door. A padlock was apparently removed with a hacksaw and the lock was forced with a jemmy. Three tyres stolen were valued at about £8 each. The company has been in business seven years at the premises and there have been burglaries for six summers. Precautions have been taken to strengthen doors and windows.
