GRASS FIRE ON MOUNT EDEN
The Remuera Fire Brigade received a call to one of the first grass fires of the season which broke out on the slopes of Mount Eden yesterday afternoon. The outbreak occurred on the Epsom side of the mountain and about a quarter of an acre of grass was burned before the arrival of the brigade.
