An airplane shipment of securities valued at more than £15,000,000, consisting of certificates of Trans-Amer-ica Corporation, left Oakland, California, airport for New York City, 3,000 miles away. The securities which reached New York within 48 hours, were carried in 15,000 letters, and represented a 150 per cent, stock dividend for certain bank shareholders living east of the Mississippi River.
