LIFE-LONG AMBITION

ERECTION OF STONE ON MOTHER’S GRAVE AT LAST FULFILLED A 70-year-old man has just achieved his life ambition at Twyford, Leicestershire. He erected a gravestone to the memory of His mother in the little village churchyard after having saved for 63 years. The old man was George Enrlerby, whose mother died when he was seven years of age. He decided when a hoy that would regularly bapK all his savings until he had sufficient to erect the memorial. He now lives in Leicester, and travelled from there to watch the stone being placed in position.
