CIVIC WINTER GARDEN
DANCING LATE THIS EVENING A big special dancing attraction will be held at the Civic Winter Garden after the shows this evening. when dancing will be enjoyed from 11.30 p.m. to 2.30 a.m. During the evening novelty items will be presented by Ted Henkel, Fred Scholl at the organ, specialty numbers by the famous trio, Ramon, Madeline and Pedro, and items by the Civic ballet corps. The latest and brightest jazz music will be played by the Civic's Special Jazz Band. YE OLDE PIRATE SHIPPE The unique cabaret on board Te Old© Pirate Shippe, berthed at Milford, will be open for dancing again this evening. Ye Versatile Pirates jazz band provides excellent music and every arrangement has been made for the comfort and convenience of dancers. Late transport will be available. “The Love Parade,” Maurice Chevalier’s second all-talking, singing and dancing production for Paramount, was hailed as a screen production of unusual and outstanding merit at New York premiere a few weeks ago. “The Love Parade” is the screen’s first original operetta. Jeanette MacDonold. Lupino Lane, Lillian Rotli, Ben Turpin and other favourites are featured in the cast.
