POISON TAKEN FROM LABORATORY EVIDENCE AT INQUEST Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, Today. A verdict of death by poison, selfadministered, was returned at an inquest concerning the death of Richard Daniel Duder, a youth who recently arrived from England and who died in the Christchurch Hospital on November 29, 1929, which w&s concluded yesterday before Mr. E. C. Levvey, S.M., coroner. Duder was found in Riccarton Road suffering from the effects of poisoning. It was stated that Duder had been dissatisfied with the life in New Zealand. A constable gave evidence that he had madu investigations at Lincoln College and there had found evidence that someone had been at work in the chemical laboratory after getting in through the window. It was quite possible to get in through the window. A test tube containing poison was found in deceased’s room.
