MondayDon Bradman, the young New South Wales cricketer, today broke the world's record for the highest score in a first-cla3s match. Playing in the second innings for his State against Queensland in a Sheffield Shield match lie compiled 452 runs, not out. New South Wales’s score was 7GI for eight wickets when the innings was declared closed. Queensland had made 72 for the loss of seven wickets when stumps were drawn.
