MOTOR-CAR DAMAGES FENCE

DRIVER LOSES CONTROL Considerable damage was done to the fence of a house at 105 Jervois Road, Porisonby, when a five-seater motorcar, driven by Mr. J. C. Hayden, of Ciisborne, mounted the pavement, crashed through the fence and came to rest against the house, at about 6.20 last evening. Mr. Hayden, who was travelling along Jervois Road, endeavoured to avoid another motor-car driven by Air. Minogue. of Herne Bay, when he lost control of his car.

Mr. Hayden escaped injury, and the car was not ba4ly damaged.
