QUEER PLAY PRODUCED BY NOTED ACTOR EARTH AND HEAVEN MEET buitcd P.T.—By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, December 24. “The Times’* says “The Last Enemy,” written by Frank Harvey, the well-known actor, which was produced at the Fortune Theatre, “has enough merit to make it a success, and as long as it clings to m—— i ' earth it is unquestionably successful.” The story commences with the death of two explorers in a tent in the Antarctic. The two go to Heaven and what seemed to be stars in the backcloth are the Frank Harvey souls of unborn children. !t is explained that the explorers may have spiritual children on earth. One guardian angel appears in evening dress to save a spiritual daughter from an intoxicated airman and takes her through a locked door.
