AVIATION ESSAY
COMPETITION RESULTS THE first prize of one guinea -** offered by the Roc for the best essay on “The Most Suitable Airplane for New Zealand—and Why” has been won by MASTER ROBERT JOHN GILMORE, c.o. Auckland Savings Bank, Broadway, Newmarket, aged 14. The second prize of half a guinea has been awarded to MASTER H. P. TOONE, 6 Tenterden Avenue, Mount Eden, aged 15. Worthy of special mention: Master Alan Sayers, 9 Crown Street, Royal Oak, aged 14. The first prize essay will appear in the “Airways” columns next T uesday.
