DROWNED IN RESERVOIR

DEATH OF SMALL BOY Press Association TE PUKE, Thursday. , A boy aged eight years, the only son of Mr. and Mrs. T. R. Pike, of No. 1 Road, Te Puke, was drowned yesterday in a reservoir. The parents missed the lad at teatime and a search was made. The body was found in an unused reservoir which had been filled by recent rain. Artificial respiration was tried for two hours without success.
