WHANGAREI RAINFALL
LESS THAN IN 1928 The total amount of rainfall recorded for the past 12 months in Whangarei show's a decrease of 10 inches as compared with the figures for 1928. Last year 62.98 in. fell, against 79.59 in, for 1928. The average for the past five years is 66.45 in. December, 1929, was a drier month than December, 1928, the figures being l.tf7 and 5.73 in respectively.
