EXTREMISTS IN JAVA
NATIONALIST LEADERS ARRESTED WELTEVREDEN, Tuesday. Early on Sunday morning the police all over Java searched the houses of the native Nationalist leaders. They seized papers and arrested the most troublesome offenders. The Government obtained a mass of evidence against the extremists, who had planned an attack on the Govern ment and the white population on New Year’s Eve.
