CANTERBURY BEATS BULLER Press Association WESTPORT, Wednesday. A two-days’ cricket match between teams representing Canterbury and Buller was concluded today. Canterbury won by 188 runs. Batting first Canterbury scored 178 (Newman 33, Grose 27. Kippenberger 24). Canterbury had 12 batsmen. Buller. with 15 players, made 110 (E. Smith 33, Mulligan IS). Today Canterbury scored 184 for seven wickets and declared (Hobbs 42, Newman 22. Doreen 56, Grose 25). Buller made a poor showing in the second innings. The 11 men who batted made 64 runs.
