BABY DROWNED IN BATH

EVIDENCE AT INQUEST An inquest was opened yesterday before Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M., coroner, concerning the death of the infant son of Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Neison, of 19 Mosley Avenue, D.evonport, who was found floating in a bath at about 6.30 on Sunday evening. Mrs. Neison, who had been bathing her two elder children, went to see whether they were in bed, and left her 15 months old child Donald in the bath. She returned to find the infant floating in the water. After evidence had been given by Mrs. Neison and Dr. de Clive Lowe, the coroner returned a verdict of accidental death by drowning.
