EACH OF THESE MEN IS A V.C. WINNER.— Holders of the Victoria Cross from all parts of the world recently assembled in London to attend a special dinner given by H.R.H. the Prince of Wales. One of the functions the heroes attended was a special performance at the Prince of Wales Theatre of “Journey’s End,” the famous war play. The actors in the cast gave their services free and the V.C.’s were thrilled with a performance which recalled their wartime experiences for them. At the conclusion of the performance they signed a souvenir programme for the author. Crowds of women mobbed the heroes as they left the theatre.
