FIRE NEAR OPOTIKI
DWELLING DESTROYED From Our Own Correspondent OPOTIKI, Today. The dwelling house of Mr. J. Edwards was completely destroyed with its contents by lire on Christmas Eve, during the absence of the family m Opotiki. The house was situated in Te Whaiti Valley, Upper Waiawa, and owing to its isolation the fire was not seen by anyone.
