MONEY VANISHES
WAS LEFT IN POLICE CELL FOR SAFETY MELBOURNE, Friday. Several hundreds of pounds, the takings at a local theatre, were left at the Prahran police station for safety, owing to the banks being closed.
The money was placed in an empty cell. This morning the cell was found to be still locked, but the money was gone.
