RICH GIFT TO FRANCE
£1,200,000 FOR MEDICAL SCHOOL A ROCKEFELLER OFFER Reed. 9.15 a.m. PARIS, Thursday. Professor Georges Roger announced that Mr. John D. Rockefeller, junr., has offered £1,200,000 for the construction of a new medical school in France, on condition that France contributes an equal amount. Professor Roger said this sum would permit the finest medical centre in Europe to be built, capable of accommodating 10,000 students.
