VALUABLE PEARLS LOST

PROPERTY OF WHITE RANEE DIAMONDS ALSO MISSED LONDON, Dec., 19. The Ranee of Pudukota, formerly Miss Molly Fink, of Melbourne, was walking in Bond Street, when there was a slight explosion in an electric fuse chamber. She later missed a necklace of 53 graduated pearls, a diamond clasp, and a platinum guard chain, valued at £6,600, which she was carrying in her handbag, wrapped in paper.

She did not believe it was stolen, as the paper remained in her handbag. She fruitlessly retraced her steps, seeking the necklace.
