LICENCES LOST, FINES IMPOSED CHRISTMAS PLEA FAILS Press Association WELLINGTON, Today. The season's festivities cost two more motor-car drivers their licences for 12 months today. George Inglis, a marine engineer, was one. He \va3 also fined £lO. Alfred G. Y. Baxter, the other, was fined £2O. Baxter’s condition was discovered as a result of his colliding with another car. The justices of the Bench remarked on the plea that some consideration should be extended to the season, but said that drink and motoring did not go together.
