MORRINSVILLE NOTES
The movietone method of talkie reproduction was inaugurated at the Regent on Thursday night. The effort was entirely successful and showed that the Regent Talking apparatus is capable of projecting both the record and film method of talkie reproduction. * * * Mr. H. L. Hough, of Auckland, is at present carrying out the annual visit of inspection of the Morrinsville branch of the Bank of New Zealand. The names of Messrs. J. N. Keeps and Mr. T. I*\ X. O’Brien appear in the lists of passes for the diploma in banking examination. Mr. Heeps passed in Economics, Bills of Exchange and Commercial and Banking Law, while Mr. O’Brien passed in Commercial and Banking Law.
