LUNA PARK
HOLIDAY ATTRACTIONS Record crowds were present at Inina Park on Christmas Eve and thoroughly enjoyed themselves with the amusements in the open air. All the familiar devices, such as the dodg'dm, caterpillar, the whip and the ever-popular scenic railway, were being well patronised, while the numerous side-shows are very popular. The new attractions this year are the fascinating mystery entitled “Death on the Guillotine,’* in which a young lady is apparently beheaded in full view of the audience; a clever monkey, “Cannon Ball Joe,” who drives his own motor-car; Margie Van Camp’s trained pigs; daredevil acts on motorcycles by the Staig Duo; Elsia, “halfman, half-woman,” and Jolly Ray, the fat girl. The park will be open again this evening, when another record crowd should be present.
