A TERRIBLE DEATH
HORSE DRAGS JOCKEY ALONG ROAD LAD FATALLY BATTERED Reed. 11 p.m. SYDNEY, Today. Gilbert Sullivan, an apprentice jockey, met with a terrible death when he was dragged by a bolting racehorse. Sullivan was riding a two-year-old when the horse avas seized with fright. It reared, threw tha jockey, and then galloped along a coq, Crete suburban road, dragging Sullivan head downward. The unfortunate lad was battered almost beyond recognition.
