CHICHESTER TO FLY ON

AIRMAN AWAITING NEW PROPELLER STRANDED IN TRIPOLI United P.A. —By Telegraph—Copyright Reed. 9.5 a.m. LONDON, Wed. It is learned that Mr. F. C. Chichester who, flying from Britain to New' Zealand, was forced down in the Tripoli marshes, intends to continue his flight within a few days, when a new propeller and strut arrive. These were dispatched by De Havillands as soon as they heard of the accident. The damage to the machine is not serious. The accident happened while the airman was taking off in the moonlight, which always is a difficult manoeuvre. It is not known here whether Mr. Chichester has received news of his wife’s death.
