FIREMEN’S CONFERENCE

MEETING AT DARGAVILLE From Our Own Correspondent DARGAVILLE, Wednesday. Arrangements are being put in hand by the Dargaville Fire Brigade for the reveption of about 100 visiting firemen on (rood Friday and Easter Saturday, when the Auckland District Fire Brigades will hold their annual eonference and demonstration at Dargaville. The programme, which has been submitted for the approval of the conference authorities, includes a civic reception on Good Friday afternoon, conference of delegates on Friday night and demonstration on Saturday with a full programme of seven events. A church parade is to be held on Krister Sunday, and it is hoped to take the visitors to the beach during that

afternoon. The majority of men will leave by the steamer for home on Sunday evening.
