WEDDING AT HAMILTON

BRIDE IN IVORY VELVET ADAM—SEAL A very pretty wedding took place on Saturday afternoon at Hamilton between Mary Evelyn, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Everet Seal, of Te Aroha Street, Claudelands, and Alastair Somerset Graham Adam, of Nelson, son of Mrs. Adam, of Crowborough, Sussex, England.

The Very Rev. Dean Barnett, of St. Peter’s Anglican Cathedral, officiated. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a lovely gown of ivory velvet. Her beautiful tulle veil was held by a coronet of orange blossom, and she carried a sheaf of Madonna lilies. She was attended by Miss Gwitha Hobey, of Nelson, §ls chief bridesmaid, who wore a charming frock of primrose yellow tulle over taffeta, with a circlet of gold leaves in her hair, and carried a sheaf pf Madonna lilies.

Miss Jean Ward and Miss Nancy Walders were also in attendance, arjd wore frocks of pink tulle over taffeta, each carrying a bouquet of blue flowers.

Mr. K. J. IT. Seal, brother of the bride, was best man. After the ceremony, a reception was held at the Lyceum Club, Mrs. Seal receiving her guests wearing a navy georgette and lace ensemble suit, anil smart bangkok hat to match. She carried a bouquet of sweet peas. Mr. and Mrs. Adam, who intend making their home in Nelson, left for their honeymoon by car, the bride wearing a suit of patterned crepe de chine, with a mushroom satin coat, and brown and orange bangkok hat.
