INTOXICATED MOTORIST From Our Own Correspondent WHANGAREI, Tuesday. In answer «.o a telephone message at 4.30 p.m. yesterday, two constables proceeded up the Kamo Road where they found a stationary motor-car with the driver leaning over the steer-ing-wheel. As a result, Robert Cowan, of Hukerenui appeared at the Whangarei Police Court before Messrs. L. J. Brake and A. H. Curtis this morning and pleaded guilty to a charge of being intoxicated in charge of a motorcar. He said he had taken several whiskies. Cowan was fined £lO and his driving licence was cancelled for six months.
