Highly commended: Red Star Jean Mclndoe, Hamilton), Eyes of the Morning (Ruby Blair, Auckland), Green Bough (Norma Joll, Auckland), Flying Cloud (Lesley du Faur, Howick), Lone Singer (Rena Shenkin, Herne Bay), Flying Beetle (Leslie Crago, Takapuna), Spindrift (Vera Manchester, Grey Lynn). POETRY First prize: Harvest Moon (Alma Chamberlain, Riccarton, Christchurch). Second prize: Little Swift Canoe (Fitzie Morris, Mount St. John Avenue. Epsom). Highly commended: Red Star (Jean Mclndoe. Hamilton). Dancing Star (Margaret Bartrum, Takapuna). Flying Beetle (Leslie Crago, Takapuna). DRAWING - First prize: Silver Moccasin (Gwendolyn Tancred, Ladies* Mile, Remuera). Second prize: Harvest Moon (Alma Chamberlain, Riccarton, Christchurch). Highly commended: Sighing Wind (Phyllis Fitz Gerald, Wellington), Dancing Star (Margaret Bartrum, Takapuna).
