TEA PARTY AND CHRISTMAS TREE
JOLLY AFTERNOON AT MANGERE CHILDREN ENTERTAINED A very jolly tea party and Christmas tree was given to nearly 50 children of the St. James’s Sunday School at the Oriental Rendezvous, Mangere, on Saturday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Hall, Miss Hall, Avery and Miss Browning did splendid work to entertain the children. Among the children present were: Paula Erdman, Jean Sharp, Sadie Bryant, Rene Shortt, Dolly Phillips, Lucy Rae. Eva Rodgers, Gertie Bryant, Lucy Wong, Edna Baker, Nancy Phillips, June Carol, Gwen Phillips, Violet Hog-gar t, Ilonka Erdman, Olive Knott, Audrey Jeffs, Bertha Hall, Kathleen Hoggart, Beryl Jeffs, Violet Audas, Nancy Steadman, Rona Shortt, Isobel Woodward. Olive French, Daphne Barr, Betty Carol, Margaret Hoggart, Dorothy Hoggart, Lawrence Knott, Wilfred Sharp, Arthur Woodward, Laurence Hall, Douglas Shaij).
