BODY IN HARBOUR

MISSING MAN FOUND DROWNED James Hanna, aged 65, a single man, who had been missing since Wednesday. was found drowned in the harbour off Princes Wharf shortly before 5 o’clock on Saturday afternoon. Deceased, who lived with friends at 33 Margaret Avenue, Mount Albert, was last seen on Queen's Wharf on Wednesday. The body, which was seen in the water by a passer-by, was recovered a short time later and removed to the city morgue. An inquest was opened this morning before Mr. F. K. Hunt S.M., coroner, when the body was identified as that of James Hanna. The inquest was adjourned sine die.
