NORTHCOTE METHODISTS

CHRISTMAS SERVICES

Special Christmas services were conducted yesterday at the Northcote Methodist Church. The preacher in the morning was the Rev. S. Griffiths, when a solo was sung by Miss E. Sharp and a quartet by the choir members. A breaking-up Bible class service was held in the afternoon and an address was given by Mr. H. Stebbing. Solos were sung by Miss M. McKenzie and Mr. G. Davies. At 6.30 p.m. community singing was indulged in and at 7 p.m. the preacher was the circuit minister, the Rev. J. H. Allen. Christmas anthems were rendered by the choir, the soloists being Mrs. J. Bear and Mrs. W. K. A. Stewart.
