KING’S OPENING OF NAVAL PARLEY British Official "Wireless Reed. 11 a.m. RUGBY, Friday. Great public interest is taken in the announcement made by the Prime Minister that the King will make the opening address at the Five Power Naval Conference which will open in London on January 21. This will be the first occasion for over 14 months on which the King has made a public speech.

The King and Queen will leave London tomorrow for Sandringham, Norfolk, where they will spend Christmas. His Majesty will not return to London until the naval conference assembles.
