ST. JAMES THEATRE

LAST NIGHT OF JIM GERALD Tonight Jim Gerald and his company of artists will appear for the last time at the St. James Theatre. Auckland has seen some excellent revue programmes by this company during the several weeks spent in the City, and the present potted farce, “The Tennis Club,” is well up to standard. As the gardener, Jim Gerald is at the top of his form, and his antics are a delight to the audience. His fun-making is ably supported by ballet and solo dancing, and by tuneful singing. The St. James Theatre will be closed until the night of Boxing Day, when it will reopen with an all-talking programme, “Gold Diggers of Broadway.” This film is in colour.
