Colonel .1. r. Stevenson sailed for Sydney today by the Marama.

pr M. C. Peza.ro was a passenger for Sydney today by the Marama. >!r. Justice Frazer left for Wellington by tho Limited last evening.

Mr. J- S. Fletcher, M.P. for Grey Lynn, returned by the express today. professor Maxwell Walker returned to Auckland today.

Mr. J- A. Young. M.P., was a passrnser from Wellington to Frankton by tho Limited express this morning.

Tbo Hon. J. I*. Donald, Minister of Industries and Commerce, will return to Auckland tomorrow morning.

Mr. Justice MacGregor will leave Zealand in February on a visit to England. — (P.A.).

Captain E. P. O. Boyle, military secretary to the Governor-General, left for Wellington last evening.

The Hon. A. J. Stall worthy. Minister ot Health, will reach Auckland tomorrow morning by the Limited from Wellington.

The Hon. E. A. Ransom, Minister of public Works, will make a tour of North Auckland, beginning on January 7. The tour will end on January 38.

Miss Sadie Foote, M.A., who was appointed temporarily to the staff of tho Wellington Girls’ College, has received notice of her appointment tc the staff of tho Rotorua High School, and vill take up her duties on February 4.

Mr. Alfred Ilill, formerly of Wellington, and now a teacher on the New South Wales Conservatorium staff in Sydney, is a visitor to Wellington. Mr. Hill is a composer of conspicuous ability, who has made a name for himself by developing Maori melodies in p, very attractive form.

The Rev. F. G. Harvie. vicar of St. Augustine’s Church, Stanley Bay, has been appointed vicar of St. Barnabas,
